If you notice, it is threaded for a can. It happens to be about the diameter of several .22 cans currently on the market.I like that.
Kinda bad ass looking.
But, uh, why???
Is it just to look cool? I wouldn't think (even on a .22) that you would want to shave weight off the front....

Browning has apparently discontinued it recently. They also have done some through Lipsey's. DSH has one or 2 of the "regular" threaded Brownings.
