    Franklin County Sheriiff's Officer RIP

    Franklin County Sheriff's Office

It is with great sadness that the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office announces the passing of Lt. Jonnathan Riley, 40, of Carrabelle, Florida. Lt. Riley passed away last night after suffering from an unexpected bleeding on the brain. Lt. Riley was well respected among his peers and in his community and his death has left a community grieving at the sudden loss of a fine, young man.

Lt. Riley leaves behind a wife, Darlene, a teenaged son (Jonny) and a young teenaged daughter (Casey). He has over 14 years with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, and also served the City of Carrabelle as a Police Officer.

We will release details of the arrangements when we receive them. We thank you in advance for your prayers for his family and his Law Enforcement family. At this time, anyone wishing to send cards/condolences to the family may send it to the care of Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Family of Lt. Jonnathan Riley, 270 State Road 65, Eastpoint, FL 32328

Rest in peace Lt. Riley. 40 is way too young.
I'd rather be lucky than good, but I'd rather KNOW I'm good than HOPE to get lucky.
