J ,seems to me that you could take a 1/2X28 and make a 14X1 out of it.

It would have to be the 5/8x24 that goes to the 14x1 for 30 cal, still I see your point though.

Ahhhh. I was thinking you were saying cut and rethread the barrel and the barrel would need .120" left on each side of the hole. That could work if adapting the interior of the muzzle comp. I'm gonna simmer on this, it's still $81 more than standard MSRP
