I wouldn't know about the hot wings unless they ran out of steak.

Let us skip the other lies, for brevity’s sake. To consider them would prove nothing, except that man is what he is—loving toward his own, lovable, to his own,—his family, his friends—and otherwise the buzzing, busy trivial, enemy of his race—who tarries his little day, does his little dirt, commends himself to God, and then goes out into the darkness, to re-turn no more, and send no messages back—selfish even in death.

What is ATF doing in regard to people making firearms?

There are no federal restrictions on an individual making a firearm for personal use, as long as it does not violate the GCA or National Firearms Act (NFA).

Yep, I looked it up as well, I just hadn't responded yet.

So its legal to manufacture a gun yourself and not involve the ATF. And it is legal for it to not have any identifying marks as well.

Yep perfectly legal to make a weapon for yourself. If you do sell it later you have to put a serial number on it.

Only digging in on the position of the truth – yes, I defend guns because guns are useful for killing criminals and tyrants – is going to be successful. Only the truth shall set you free.

Seems to be debate about that.

No debate. You sell it you are going to take the ride. Thousands of dollars and many months if not years later you will find out if you are going to do the time. (The you is generic )

The Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA) permits an unlicensed individual to make a firearm for personal use, but not for sale or distribution. However, the law does not explicitly preclude an unlicensed person from later selling, giving away, or otherwise transferring a homemade firearm to another person as long as it was originally intended for personal use. A gun explicitly made for personal use can be sold or transferred in the same way that a factory-made firearm of that same class can be sold or transferred.

Bodo hit it on the head. If you make a firearm to sell, you are fucked. If you make a firearm and later decide to sell it, you are ok.

Ok . I believe y'all . But my balls aren't big enough to explain the law to the ATF. It's been my experience that the aft interprets the statutes as they see fit .
