The best price I am seeing on steel cased 223 is $259 at GOFUCKYOURSELF Cheaper than dirt.

And after that its in the $300 range for 1k.

    Panic boys.
When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it--always.

Same here, well except the wife part, we split the sheet years ago.

    Bought cases (10 X 550) of 22 LR for $110.

What's the oldest ammo you guys have shot? I have a couple of Korean era spam cans of 30 carbine that go bang every time, or bang, bang, bang in the M2.

Old .30-06 reloads from the early 1950's that my dad made... old .22 Hornet from the early 1960's... and lots of old WW II era 8mm... occasionally I shoot up old paper shot shells.
