With the chronys that have the ability to take a remote switch, the switch let's you scroll through the individual shots, as well as giving avg, hi, lo, es, avg, as well as other data..
The one I have has the remote display so I can put it. On the bench, the switch is a simple momentary pushbutton that can be made from a 1/8 stereo jack, a pushbutton switch and a piece of pvc with caps to house it in..
About 5-7 bucks worth of parts..
I saw a post about a f1 as well...if it has the small headphone jack you should be good..

I also saw some programming code for one a while back that would output data strings to a pc..
I don't use that, as I usually use a russian space pen ( pencil) to log my data
