When he shoots the 5.56 5 round string it looks like he shooting at the back curve of the plate. In other words he is shooting at the fucking plate backwards. Maybe that explains the spalling in the box. Look at the video at about 8.14 minutes. He puts the plate back in the box wrong side out! He said it was a flat plate, so not sure the side matters?

Possible that I'm confused.
At 2:45 into the video he states "You'll also notice that this plate has a slight curvature to it. This curvature makes wearing the plate more comfortable."

Ahhh.
The AR500 build up plate he shot was FLAT. He did not shoot the curved plate that was just painted.
