I will bring the cut off pin bottoms to set the tops on for the .22 pistol shoot.

alright then, it's settled.

The regular match will be as normal, green metal tables, centerfire handguns, 10 yards.

Fun match will be 10 yards, shoot the pin tops with a .22 handgun, and the pin bottoms with a centerfire handgun.

YOU MUST SHOOT THE PIN TOP OFF FIRST...DO NOT SHOOT THE BOTTOM FIRST AND SAY "there, I did it"


I'm not sure what tables to use for the fun match...are the steel tables ok to hit with .22? anyone know?

I vote center fire on the big pins on the tables then fun match tops only with .22. The .22 at the table can't be any worse than large caliber weapons in terms of ricochet. The transition from tops to bottoms will be kinnda crazy for the fun match. On a side note me and rumbler want to try slugs on steel at 200 sometime. Anyone in?

Based on what Doc and I experienced last week shooting pin tops at 200, it would surprise me a LOT if the 22LR supersonic would not knock over full bowling pins with "head shots" at 25 yards or so. Maybe even 40 or 50 yards.

Doc, I am really concerned about ricochets were we to do that. You know the tables get shot a whole lot more than the targets do.
