As a side note as always I enjoyed the crap out of the shoots, as usual. The pistol match was fun, the 50 yard .22 shoot was a blast, and the 200 yard match was the most fun of all to me even though I lost...THIS TIME! I'm up for a rematch.
Rumbler, tell me again what model savage and optic that was you had on your rifle? Now I want at least that optic on my rifle if not the same setup you have. It was a damn sweet shooter.

It shoots significantly more consistently if I sort the ammo by rim thickness, but obviously it did OK at 200 without that. Though those two fliers . . . . I'd sure like to blame on something besides myself." smilieid="16" class="inlineimg">

I made it out to my first match this week. I planned to just hang out and observe but peer pressure won out and I entered. I was happy with my results (2-2) but, more than that, had a helluva good time. I'm gonna try to make it a recurring experience. Thanks to those that organized it and to everyone that made me feel like I was part of the gang. Great group of folks.
(for those that I didn't introduce myself to, I was the big guy with all of the tattoos shooting the H&K USP 45 Tactical with the threaded barrel and no holster)

Who's up for shooting pin tops with .22LR pistols at the same distance as centerfire? or perhaps do the combined match...pin bottoms with tops on top, shoot the tops with .22, and then switch to centerfire for the bottoms.
