When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it--always.

"Feels the same"?! Obviously there are side affects like pain to having a piece of lead rip though organs and flesh.
The target experiences roughly the same or less force than the force of recoil. Jafar is disputing that.
Shooting starts at 7:10, but MUCH more than that in the episode.

The target feels less force, and generally for a shorter period of time.
The shooter feels more force, and generally for a much longer period of time.

Well, now, wait........I'm not so sure on the "much" greater time thing. The recoil impulse is very quick. The deceleration of the projectile in the body or the projectile going through and exiting the body is similarly very quick. By a percentage, I wouldn't argue with you. As a matter of human perception, it's very similar.

Its very hard for me to make any generalizations about hitting something soft, like a body. But at one point you talked about something more solid. Like a steel plate, or bowling pin top. I would say the rate of deceleration hitting something hard and heavy like a steel plate would be quite high, and very quick.

I'm tracking now.
Yeah, but still only the difference of acceleration in the barrel (this started over a handgun round.........3-4") vs. instant deceleration. I'd be willing to bet (not quite by getting shot kinda stakes) that it would be imperceptible by the human brain.

(BTW, what is kiinda?)
If the handgun was a single shot, or revolver, perhaps. However if its semi auto, then you have the bolt or slide or whatever spreading that impulse out over even more time. Plus with hand gun, what you the shoot feels is cushioned by your wrists or elbows or other parts of your body moving.
