Group Buy Ideas?

Well, honestly, some people are preparing for a day and time where ordering more gear will not be a possibility. Steel can take multiple hits. Most ceramic is combat ineffective after the first hit. Also, ceramic plates shatter if you drop them at the right angle, which is a lot easier than you think. For effectiveness and duration, I personally would, and have, chosen steel.

This makes sense. I have ceramic plates currently. Would be a good idea to have some steel back up plates.

When are we doing the group buy? I would be interested in side plates and front/back plates.

For a group buy its going to take some patience. It takes time to get this stuff setup. I hope to have pricing and such this week, but most vendors seem to move in geologic time.

BTW, this will not be a typical group buy. Whichever vendor we choose ( http://www.ar500armor.com/ or http://www.thetargetman.com/) you will be able to select anything they have.

We will need to get a minimum order, and we should be lower than their online prices, even with tax, but don't expect it to be 20%.

If we go with thetargetman you can get Ceramic, UHMWPE or AR500 steel, as well as targets and stands.

If we go with AR500 armor, they have med kits and MRE's and lots of other stuff.

Ahem.....

I say go with AR500. They use the PaxCon coating, they sell lots of other stuff by well known brands like hsgi and such...
