Oh boy, didn't we have a great time!
Just got back from my first USPSA competition. It's so much fun, and to me it's a "training" too because I had to shoot from many different positions that I'd never practiced before.
We went through 6 or 7 courses of competition. Each with different target-setup and configuration. I don't know exactly how scoring method is for USPSA competition but I believe it basically takes both speed and accuracy into account.
Here are some photos from today's event. I am trying not to show people's front-faces but in case you were in my squad and like to have your pictures emailed to you please feel free to ask me - I probably have them, very sharp photos.
BTW, being a new shooter and 1st time USPSA match competitor, I think my accuracy was "So So" or "OK", but my moves were really slow, my magazine reload skill was horrible, and my choice of gun was probably wrong too! (I shot .45 ACP with a 3-inch barrel small gun)
More matches like this please Talon, more!!!
