Testing the waters....complete Cold Plunge $250

Are you ready to embrace the suck?
Does the experience of "shrinkage" make you happy?

Well then, have I got a deal for you.

This is a full DIY functional cold plunge. I built it to experiment and am now going to make the next generation version to fit in more specific space so I need this one out of the way. You cannot build one for what I am asking. I think I have close to $600 in the build and am selling for the price of the Chiller.

This is Rocita Aquarium Chiller ($250) cycling from a submersible pump ($25) through a line screen filter and UV light Sanitizer ($75). The tub is a foil/bubble/spray foam insulated 100g Rubbermaid Stock Tank ($120) that has had a garden hose adapter ($ installed at the drain. Power is via a GFI strip with dual timers so you set the pump, chiller, and UV light to turn on and off as needed. It includes a cover with 1.5 hard foam insulation and the basic 2x4 stand with a towel pole. It will be plug and play with all tubing and pipes. I will throw in the chemical treatments as well.

I keep it in my temp controlled barn and it has no problem holding 52 degree temps. It may go lower, but 3:30 at that temp was giving me the relief I wanted so I've never pushed it past that.

You can see it running, test it if you promise not to pee in it, or I can break it down, clean it and deliver for another $25. You can do the research to see if you feel like you or a family member, perhaps kid who is an athlete, would benefit.

There is a price that will get it sold now, a price that will get it sold eventually, and a price that just lets everybody know you own one.

I've cross posted this on the horror that is C-list.

The entire thing has now been drained, cleaned, and compressed air dried so a test soaking is off the agenda. It is all packed in the 100g tub.

I also scavenged the lumber for another project this morning so the stand is no longer part of the package.
