The official,unofficial,sanctioned,non-sanctioned CCGF chili cook off

Just putting a feeler out on this one.sometime in November/early December at my place.we all had a good time at rails we need to keep it up.im thinking same deal,bring ur guns and have a good time.and Crawdaddy the event planning Mac daddy came up with the chili cook off part.ive also got a big dry creek bed ive used to set up a fun little run and gun pistol course before.hopefully the damn Mosquitos will be gone by then.everyone throw in your opinions and ideas

how are we defining "chili"?
Beans /no beans?
is blond chili really chili or just some weird stew?

Is real chili meant to be served over rice or crackers or chips or should it be complex and satisfying enough to stand alone?

I say whatever you designate chili is good enough. The judges may disagree but that's just how it goes sometimes.....
