    I use a RCBS press that I purchased as a teen, about 40 years ago. It is slow, but for my purposes, it's fine.

    I don't know if they still do this or not, but DHS (gun shop on Centerville Road, between the Fleishman's), used to offer a reloading class, after which they'd allow you to use their presses in the reloading room). That's a good way to try out a few different brands of reloaders.

    You should also spend some time reading the "Reloading" section of the forum. Lots of good information and "How do I..." type questions and answers.

    Coach.

    How do I... get someone else to do all this shit for me and still pay less for ammo with no initial outlay of cash for equipment and/or materials?

    Simple - turn it into a government entitlement program; make sure you set the parameters so that you qualify.

    In that case, I self-identify as an ammo-sexual. Gimme, gimme, gimme.

    All that fast reloading is great until you get this!

    A gun is kind of like a parachute;
    if you need one and don't have one,
    you'll probably never need one again

    It happens. Even with factory ammo.
    When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it--always.
