The Boston butt thing is your call. I do need a small piece of grill space for the Korean BBQ.

    Making a couple of assumptions....

    1) You guys are talking about smoking not grilling
    2) The brisket is thinner than the butt
    3) your smoker can maintain a steady, low temp

The brisket will take less time

Smoker for the butt or brisket and a grill for the Korean BBQ. If need be I'll start the meat early in the am on my smoker.

Butt's, smoke and Koreans. Sounds like a real party now.

Do we need an additional small grill? I'm sure we can scare up some of those. I've got a 24" or so diameter portable one.

I have a grill made out of a 150 gallon LP tank. Towable. It has a firebox on one end for smoking. You can also put charcoal under the racks for grilling. Easy to regulate heat. Seadog, if you want to start on yours, or even cook on yours Friday night and warm on mine that fine with. Just again, I don't want to impose.

Anybody that wants to come early in the day to start cooking and hang out. can. RR53 and I will be around all day setting up.

Talon is just 15 minutes to the east.

Wal-Mart is 5 minutes away, for beer runs, etc.

Wife said it's forecasted to rain on the 8th. Do we have an indoor option or some covered areas?

It's an "arena". That sounds pretty covered.

Dang Jonas, that's an 8 day out forecast. It may change 10 times by then.

But, I have a three sided 12 X 24 shed on skids, that I'll drag over and the Stabin Cabin is about 400 sq ft, with kitchen and bathroom. Disclaimer: My brother named the cabin.
