Yummmmmmm my favorite
Do you love your family ?
I can't tell.
What time do I come over for dinner? My Glocks are always hungry
These loads were at/near factory 115gr FMJ speeds, at an average of 1140 FPS, I'm happy.
I'm legit curious with the perceived shift in the 9mm world. Back when I first started shooting it was a 9mm, and 115 was not that common. The most common target load was the 124 FMJ. I was poking around the other day looking for some 9mm and I couldn't find 124 anywhere.
Is everyone getting away from the 124 or is it just me?
115gr is cheaper. If you aren't trying to make a specific power, why spend more?
147gr is what I use for SD however.
Back when I was more involved with 9mm, the 147's were only available in a subsonic load. I'm sure that's changed now, but what speed are they running?
My SD ammo is Federal P9HST4. Its 1050 at the muzzle.

dribble was that with a fart enhanced back wind?
I heard about this a month or so back, guess it's a go. Principals aren't local, they're from down south but wanted to locate near the Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy and near the other State Law Enforcement agencies.
"Armada Ammunition announced today it plans to open an ammunition manufacturing plant in Greensboro, Florida next month.CEO John Coffman says it will make, package and sell small arms ammunition to law enforcement agencies and the military. He says ammo will sell for a flat fee per type, so small agencies don't wind up paying more for big agencies who get discounts for buying in bulk.
Coffman says the plant will open with six employees initially and expects to hire 30 people within the first year and 45 people by its second year.
The 8,000 square foot warehouse is on Greensboro Highway is in an old fertilizer plant. He says Armada Ammunition uses "smokeless powder" which greatly diminishes the risk of accidents and explosions."
^^^ Saw that this morning on the news. I wonder if they will sell ammo to civilians??
Group Buy, Anyone????
Completely in.
I'm just loading range ammo... the 115's are cheaper and shoot great.
The article I read yesterday indicates there will be military and some law-enforcement sales. However no commercial sales unfortunately. The information I had indicated the purpose of this plant was to provide cost-effective ammunition to small rural agencies along with the military.

Boo
Well maybe they won't sell as much as they hope or they will decide to make more money by selling more.
Dale
I suspect they will sell to a distributor here locally. The market is too good right now not too.
I told my LT I wanted to be part of any T&E. If that ever happens I'll let you know.
Either way I am just happy there is an ammo plant being built. There may be some hope.
