I hate played HP bullets

I really hate these mofos. Like a 10 gauge with a duckbill choke.
Don't ask why I have so many. Ordered a long time ago when not so sober. The only way I can get them to not spray is to load them like a damn puffball. Don't care for that. Anybody had any luck with them?
124gr 9mm HP and 180gr 40s&w HP
Hate to throw them away.

I use them in 9mm, but I load the lightish. 5.4 grns unique in 9mm.

I have not had much luck with plated bullets being as accurate as I'd like. I'm aware there is a magic formula that some claim to have found, but it has eluded me.

I am going to give some RMR played round nose a shot. If they don't run right I will never buy another plated bullet.
I know that FMJ precision deltas and lead will give me one hole groups.
It's just frustrating.

I've had about the same results as y'all . I've tried ever load that has been recommend to me and none gave results that could be called good.

I have loaded a ton of the 180gr 40's (in a 10mm load) and got good results. Now that is not "good" in the sense a bullseye or benchrest shooter would use. But at out to 20-25 yards I can for sure hit a forehead size target predictably.
Do you remember the Brand name" of the ones you have? I have seen some that were a real mess, they would produce the shotgun pattern you described.

They are both Berrys. I think it is the HP that makes them crazy.

Why use hollow points on plated vs round nose?
