I'll try and make this.sounds fun.
I believe that george told me it was 5" or less barrels in semi auto, 4" or less in wheelguns
even though it said double action, i don't think it would disqualify if you showed up with a 1911..
or a sig 226, caliber was 38 spec or larger, so 38's, 9's, 40's, 45's..etc,
a wheelgun with a hammer would have to be fired in double action mode though.
but it would not hurt to check.on the things you have questions about. holsters he said were just for presentation.. looks like they may be needed per the rule book I linked below..
and yes it sounds fun, and a good showing would allow more NRA events at the range..
I just wonder if Glock 35 is a service weapon.
Mapper,Did he harass you into signing up too?
He's trying......Quote:

Yes more than 1personal invitation was given...
It will be a good thing to have NRA events there.
And it,s good when a local shop gives back to the community.
It will be fun.
I'm going to do a run what ya brung thing.. a 5" 1911 should work ok.
I just spoke to mr worthington,
5" +/- pistols are fine..
single action pistols are fine
4" revolvers are fine
a 6" would be ok if you are 70..
emphasis on saftey
either holster or start at low ready
the idea is to get folks out to shoot..
and there will be a prize table..
jafar, run what ya brung...
single or double or striker fired
revolver or pistol
it is a b 27 target, so it should be big enough to hit..
it is a sanctioned event,
Signed up today. Now to practice shooting left handed...
Ah are they doing the strong hand, weak hand shooting thing?im not bad at that,I'm an awkward shooter.i draw right handed but aim with left eye or both eyes open once I get on target and have to swing gun around. So I think I'm better at one handed left handed shooting(if that makes sense)
