This makes sense. I have ceramic plates currently. Would be a good idea to have some steel back up plates.

When are we doing the group buy? I would be interested in side plates and front/back plates.

I say go with AR500. They use the PaxCon coating, they sell lots of other stuff by well known brands like hsgi and such...

Doc, just Google speed plates and click on Galls. Or not.

What is the thickness and dimensions of the AR500 plates?

I think .25 in?
