Its a little over $150 for the LT Pro Laser, Reaction Tyme Target and the blue gun. With the laser you can use your gun, of course limited to 1 shot.

I'm going to try dry fire. However I was sure every shot I broke at the match was right on.

Or, well, you know, You could always go to Talon and use the $12,000.00 laser training system. With several hundred scenarios (and games) to chose from, laser glocks, a laser AR and even a laser 870 pumpgun, there is bound to be some quality training for you in there somewhere. :p

If I had an extra two hours every day I would. The whole point of this is I can dedicate 15 or 30 minutes every day to it.

The mix of maintaining mental focus on the rep while forcing myself through fatigue is...something.

Like I said, sounds easy. I realize I could slouch on it and not actually grip the gun like I do when it's about to go off (which I squeeze it like it's a rattlesnake trying to bite me) and make it easier, but I would literally be wasting my time dry firing at that point. The point is to make it as close to live fire as you can.

Try it out, even if just once.

There is a slightly more frustrating version of the mag change drill. Do 10 perfect mag changes in a row. If you bobble one even a little bit, start the count over. The stress of getting to 8 and knowing there's only two to go has actually sometimes bitten me! I've done this drill until I couldn't hold the gun up any more because I wasn't disciplined enough to just slow the heck down and knock out 10 perfect mag changes. Good times.

100 draws and 100 mag changes.

Today marks a special day. I have killed a Glock mag during today's dry fire. I always use the same mag as the one that goes in the gun as to not beat up all my mags. Today, it would only seat about 50% of the time, and upon inspection, the feed lips had become so worn/damaged or whatever (they actually look fine to me) that they would no longer retain a round and they were coming out in the magwell and gumming up the works.

It was retired after a brief ceremony.

Mags are a semi-disposable item, after all! I might be able to bend them back into shape, but it's generally not worth it on a mag with that many miles on it.

in the old days you could ship damaged mags to glock and they would be replaced but they discontinued this years ago. Now its a $25 part with a limited service life.

They will not replace a mag body; I asked at the last match I shot. They will replace springs and followers though.

I live fired AND dry fired yesterday. Live fire wasn't my A game. I was having some real difficulty getting a good grip with a moderately fast draw. That's why I came home and dry fired as well.
