Oh?
Generally we can not beat the price that you find online.
Occasionally we get a deal on something kinda one off, like defensive ammo (Winchester Ranger).
BTW, the best drum price I've seen was around from Academy Sports. 5k for 12,500 rounds. $.40 per round. Considering you can buy the same ammo from lucky gunner at .37 per round in 500 round quantity its more of a cool than a buy.
Which Leatherman or Gerber products are you guys interested in? I was kinda interested in the Mutt for a while, but the price kinda made that fizzle for me.
^^^Yep^^^
Can you beat $66 that Amazon Prime has it listed for?
My cost from one vendor is $65.95, from another it is $59.35, but I'm not sure what color it is.
Even if we did it at 10% markup and we ATE the shipping, it would be $70.18 with tax.
Less than 5 bucks to buy local AND support a forum member.....Yeah I'd do that.
I'll take mine in green please.............
For that price it has to be Babyshit (coyote) brown.
I need 5 buyers.
But we can wait until they get black back in stock and mix/match whatever colors they have at that point. They however don't have an eta on getting more Gerber stuff.
If you get 4 more to step up I'll do babyshit.

What about AK drums?
He's already bought so much PVC and tinfoil they don't even register any more.
BTW, they are $69 here:

I have an observation to share. Take it for what it is worth to you.
Brick and mortar businesses, especially smaller ones, cost more to operate than virtual retailers who can order shit by the pallet load and set it on a warehouse floor somewhere the public is not welcome into.
Thus, it really is unfair and unreasonable to ask - or expect - an actual local small business operator to "cost match" (or even get really close to) the virtual retailers.
It really IS up to the buyer; pay what it costs to keep the local guys doors open, or don't. Yes or no, off or on. Simple stuff.
Again; just an observation . . . . . :)
Mike, we are very fortunate to be able to provide the pricing we do.
We are also very fortunate to have a lot of great customers; and a lot from this forum. Can't thank everyone enough. Hey, and especially you and Jonas - you guys provide us a sales outlet!!
I'm with you 110% on that Daniel. Talon, and myself, feel the same way.
And I can't say that it does not make sense to TRY and get the stuff we all use at the best possible price.
But I also believe that a lot of folks lose sight of how the retail business works.
My "favorite" example is ammunition. Our ammo prices are ridiculous. We mark it up ZERO PERCENT. And bricks of .22LR are sitting on the shelf for $75.00 (with several cases to back them up in storage). People flip out over that price.
What they don't realize is that because we are a small business and can not order 20 million rounds at a time the only reason we have 22LR ammo on the shelf is because we ordered it 6-10 months ago. The price we paid is what it was going for back then.
We wouldn't be in business long if we took a 50% loss to "compete" with ammoengine.com, or luckygunner.com, or bass pro shop. Or Walmart. So, all we can do is let a significant investment of operating capital sit there and gather dust while we listen to folks tell us the same ammo is on luckygunner.com for 1/2 the price.
It makes me sad. And more than a little frustrated. :(
Yep, its hard to compete. However service will often times win the day.
I thought 7% over the interwebs on the poop knife was a helluva good deal :dunno: I'll take that deal to support forum members everytime.
I'm down with the LMF II.
Yeah, I'm not looking for these items at a bargain basement price. I'm just trying to offer a little kick back to a local business while not having to do business with online vendors, while at the same time, trying to entice folks to get on board and start collecting things other than flashlights and broom sticks for their AR's.
I'd gladly pay a little bit more in order to do business with you guys. If that wasn't my intention I would have just started a thread on group buys and attached links to websites.
Three takers on the LMF II in baby poop brown. Jafar, Harley, and Outlaw.
Two more folks need to step up.
They have a couple of stomps, which one?
Stuff like medical equipment, gas masks, plates and carriers aren't carried by any of our current vendors carry, so I would need to establish a relationship with someone. So what manufacture's products are you interested in?
I am guessing you mean this one: (Stomp)
http://www.blackhawk.com/product/STO...ack,876,42.htm
Having a hard time with that price. How can it really cost that much?
Nothing comes inside that pack, it's just the pack itself.
The true STOMPS are close to $500
http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/MHR-316
Just the pack. They run about $120 on eBay empty.
I think the $339 is with supplies. The $120 is empty.
We have 4 takers on the LMF II baby poop.
Ya, sometimes the stream of consciousness that is typing doesn't always convey the intended meaning.
$339 for a freaking small pack? That's nuts.
Anyone interested in a Leatherman MUT? The place with the Gerber knifes has them as well.

Looks like I could do these for $125 out the door in any quantity if the Knife buy goes through. They look like a good AR companion.
