Well, those are my opinions. Anything is better than nothing I guess.

10-4.
I've been googling a little and can't find anything...yet.
This is tricky. Any shots taken off of normal benefits from the projectile 'seeing' increased thickness of armor. Non-planar plates would offer better protection but you'd see significantly more ricochet potential. At least that's how I understand it.
Rino liner works pretty good .
I wonder how effective the ar500 basic coating performs compared to the "buildup"...

That 308 eked through after several other hits
Single coat spalling

I think I was just convinced to go for the buildup.
When he shoots the 5.56 5 round string it looks like he shooting at the back curve of the plate. In other words he is shooting at the fucking plate backwards. Maybe that explains the spalling in the box. Look at the video at about 8.14 minutes. He puts the plate back in the box wrong side out! Plus ballistic bobs armor is worn too low as per AB's excellent post.
He said it was a flat plate, so not sure the side matters?
Possible that I'm confused.
Ahhh.
The AR500 build up plate he shot was FLAT. He did not shoot the curved plate that was just painted.
Dale is right. I haven't been able to watch the vids since I posted them but that rings a bell.
PM sent. I want curved and shooter's cut front and back. I'm trying figure out what side plates to go with.
Tack what plate carrier did you get?
I was using ceramic SAPI's. Heavy as shit and cumbersome. It might be a mind game but it feels like adding an extra 30 lbs. And I haven't seen any of the civilian brand carriers have cummerbunds that looks like they could handle side plates without wearing out and falling apart rapidly.
Just don't get shot in the side. Problem solved.
Someone asked the question last night, what about something that isn't on my price list that they have on the website.
I don't know. Tell me what it is and I will contact them to find out a price. Could be that their dealer price list is not updated quickly as the website.
Ok, as of right now I have 2 orders. I need some more to make this work. If you are on the fence, pm me or something to give me an idea of your interest. If its a money thing (like I will have the money in a few weeks) talk to be about that too, because I think we are a month away from getting product, so it may be fine.
Awesome. I didn't see this on the price list though

Is this a possibility as well?
Could you ask them for a sizing chart as well? Thanks honkey.
Jafar. I assume this is the same carrier:

You might want to send sizing questions to them. I'll be glad to,but since its one size fits most I don't know what detail they provide.
How big a fella are ya?
I can not get this at a dealer price.
That is correct. We do add and subtract items that dealers on the rare occasion that we do not have enough in stock that we can offer them to all of our dealers.
If you need any further assistance please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you,
