how are we defining "chili"?
Beans /no beans?
is blond chili really chili or just some weird stew?

Is real chili meant to be served over rice or crackers or chips or should it be complex and satisfying enough to stand alone?

I say whatever you designate chili is good enough. The judges may disagree but that's just how it goes sometimes.....

I could be in for a chili cook off.

my chili is passable.

Ceddie means he looks like he likes food, so he probably makes a mean chili.
