Shot another great group today with the last 4 rounds of that load... it went .640" so I'm happy.
Nice job Bob-0. Are you going to stick with that one or continue looking for an even better recipe? I have a feeling I already know the answer.
Well... I have discovered the rifle isn't fond of the 120 A-Max and H4350 load... best it went today was 1.50". Also, the rifle ran 100% and locked back on an empty mag every time so that issued has resolved itself.Quote:

But I still have some W-760 to play with... for now, the 140SST and 39.0grs of IMR4007SCC is the ticket.
I like them both... but as you may or may not know, the Creedmoor is built on the AR10 frame... bigger and more weight. But I tell you what, as a newbie in the 6.5 Creedmoor, I'm impressed.Quote:
