Boy Scout Fun Shoot - November 3, 2012

The Aucilla Council of the Boy Scouts of America will be holding thier annual fundraiser at the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office Range again this year on November 3, 2012 from 9am to 4pm.

Last year was our inaugural event and it went pretty well. We are hoping to grow it a bit this year.

The big highlight was the pistol shoot off between myself and Rumbler (although neither of us won the contest) and if i remember correctly, we once again tied in plate shooting. We plan on doing another plate shooting competition with all (100%) of the proceeds going to the Boy Scouts. I plan on getting another pistol donated this year as the grand prize.

I will be posting more details about this event in the near future but please save the date. It is geared towards bringing the kids out and teaching them about gun safety and marksmanship. The entry fee will once again be $5 per person.

NOSHOE has once again donated a Ruger 10/22 for the raffle

and i have a line on a pistol for the plate shooting - i am hoping for confirmation tomorrow.

we are adding clay shooting this year for the kiddies!!

It was great and I think everyone had fun! They are working on some cool upgrades at Otter Creek!
