    Why not just carry a sharp pencil? Its legal everywhere.

    . . oh, and it'll make a bigger hole in the threat too.

    Im not sure sharp pencils are legal in all states.

    Check page 84 of the ATF NFA handbook. You just can't have them in a high capacity pocket protector.
