    Turning the corner?

Well... after what seemed like 2 years, I finally ordered some pistol powder that was in stock. I picked up some HP-38 and 800X which stayed in stock for several days... 700X and 800X still are. I realize there may be better powders, but for general shooting/plinking/training, these do ok in .38Spc, 9mm, .40, and .45ACP.

Good rifle powders are staying in stock... W-748, IMR 4895/4064 and a host of others as well can now be readily had.

Wal-Mart down here actually had CCI .22LR and the ammo cabinet was over flowing with just about anything and everything. There was the usual panic talk after the SC shooting... thankfully, I don't see any effects.

Bullets seem plentiful so.... I'll be focusing on loading for the next six months... have another 3K 9mm ready to go.

The .22 hasn't re-emerged here yet with any regularity. Any time I'm in Wal Mart I check the shelves and the one at I 10 and Monroe had no .22 at all yesterday.

Last time I bought some was at Bass Pro.

The powder situation does seem to be improving.

I was in the St. Augustine area recently and picked up a pound of Power Pistol at a reloading shop. He had a bunch of pistol powders. The name of the shop is ACME Reloading.

That's good to know... some locals in Tally have been so kind as to obtain pistol powder for me. Yep... I think for the short term things will improve.

Powders are starting to come back, as are bullets, in less demanded weights and calibers, I have even seen some 6 mm brass.
When 22 lr stays in stock, and dale gribble does not have any "vendor issues" I'll know it over. But it is looking better, and that's a good thing.

I walked in a small shop yesterday and got some H4350 for my 6.5CM, they had another pound, Thursday if it is still there I'm going to buy it. They had IMR 4064, and W-296.

GunBot is showing powders like Lil'Gun, H110, GreenDot, and others... things are certainly getting better for the hand loader. Ramshot TAC and W-748 have been available as well.
