    Aero Lowers

Are these other lowers marked multi-cal and are they the Gen 2 with the adjustment screw on the bottom?

Yes, Gen 2 lowers. From my invoice from Aero:

AR15 STRIPPED LOWER RECEIVER, GEN 2 - ANODIZED BLACK

What does the adjustment screw "adjust"? Is there any chance that we could use it to "adjust" JAFAR?

It is used to remove any play between the upper and the lower.

Interesting. So far as I'm aware, even if you can read a book through it, that "play" hurts nothing.

That said... thanks for the information. I now know twice as much about AR15s as before...

I learned via experience many moons ago that play between upper and lower doesn't matter at all from zero to 300 meters.

I wanted to get a demon tactical quick pin for the rear pin on my 24" rifle, but they stopped making he damned things at some point. Cant seem to find a why, but i like the concept of the pin center bushing pushing down on the inside of the pin hole in the upper rather than the set screw or accu wedge that pushes the upper up and away from the lower. Of course, if you are running suppressed that might give you some extra ventilation for those swye gasses... what the fuck do i know...
