    Loading M855 green tip

Anybody have any load data for using 62 gr green tip bullets, I've found 62 gr load data but being a steel core the length of the bullets are not the same as jacketed lead. I'm using CFE 223 and looking for speed not accuracy as the green tips don't have a stellar reputation

I had the same problem when I started trying to work up a M855-like load. I ended up 24.5gr of H335, COAL of 2.260, and a CCI 41 primer. Given load data for similar weight bullets, that's a mid-range load. I haven't chrony'ed the load but I didn't see any signs of high pressure.
