Okay, Skip finally got me to get off my ass and look at the limitations for changing a thread title. I found a time limit setting on changing the thread titles which was set to 10 minutes. You've now got one year from the time the first post was made to change the title. You'll just have to click the advanced editor" button after editing the first post in the thread.
