I don't have anything on hand for .308, unless you plan to limit it to subsonic 300blk. If you would like a can capable of being used on .30cal/7.62 etc. with higher pressure levels, Silencer Shop carries many brands and has numerous items in stock. You can search their website and buy from me via their site, as well. If you plan to use a trust, you even have the option of letting them handle the process for you.

If your earlier post in reference to having anything .308 was an effort to inquire about the possibility of ordering something not presently on hand as was listed in the original post, I apologize to you for not interpreting it as such, and beg your forgiveness. As a show of good faith, I offer to personally call you on the telephone to discuss any silencer purchases you may be considering in the future, and to answer any and all questions you may have in relation to such, to the best of my ability.

Christmas is coming. Buy a can and get your forms in before they change the requirements for filing with a trust.

Greg Kulbick
December 10th, 2015, 02:18 PM
what do you mean by that?
There is a rule change proposed that would require any responsible party of a trust to submit fingerprints and photos, and possibly receive CLEO sign off, for NFA items being registered to a trust.

You know, to combat the rash of violent crimes committed with NFA items by members of trusts who weren't the person to pick the item up from a dealer, avoiding a background check.

No one wants a good 5.56 direct thread can for a great price? It's effective, compact, less than two pounds and easily threaded onto any 5.56/.223 AR with a threaded barrel.

This is what it looks like on the end of a 16" rifle with a 15" handguard.

Jafar

Welding (or 1000 degree silver solder as Dale mentioned) a suppressor to a barrel under the length of 16" only requires the initial tax stamp of the can and not as an SBR, as long as the total length of the combined elements are 16+". This would be considered as "integrally suppressed". If it is welded it cannot be spot welded, but must me a continuous bead around the the connection.

The Hearing Protection Act, HR3799, would remove firearm silencers from the purview of the National Firearms Act of 1934. Upon passage, any forms filed after Oct. 15, 2015 would be eligible for a refund of the cost of the tax stamp. It is my understanding that all other silencers currently in the process of transfer would be eligible for immediate transfer on a 4473 like any other title 1 firearm.

I think you feel ok about it. I could whip up a form 3 in no time and have it in the works...

Is it rated for .300WM?

Indeed it is. Its also only 17oz., which is incredibly light for an all inconel can.

J ,seems to me that you could take a 1/2X28 and make a 14X1 out of it.

It would have to be the 5/8x24 that goes to the 14x1 for 30 cal, still I see your point though.

I was thinking that 1/2 X 28 could be bored out and threaded 14x1 left hand?

Ahhhh. I was thinking you were saying cut and rethread the barrel and the barrel would need .120" left on each side of the hole. That could work if adapting the interior of the muzzle comp. I'm gonna simmer on this, it's still $81 more than standard MSRP :poke:

MSRP is $745 without the extra mount. I'm certain we could work out a dealer to dealer price.

Right on. I'll see about getting pics of the bases of the mounts with a mic on them.

I can order anything. If silencershop.com has them, you can probably save yourself a few bucks by buying from me through their site.
