I had heard of reloading 22LR before, but wrote it off until SHTF. Because it seems to me like the priming compound would get BATF all excited.

as long as its shipped as a binary compound that isnt premixed it should be like tanerite as far as the batf is concerned, right? they dont even ship both parts of the compound, you have to add your own acetone and let the "mud" dry in the case overnight before adding your propellent.

Same here...for the marketed intent, survival and SHTF, it's a logistical nightmare and unrealistic... just stash actual .22LR ammo.
