3000 rounds of 9mm training ammo. I'm trying RMR's thick plated 115gr RN bullets with 4.3grs. Red Dot. Have no Chrony here so the FPS data will have to wait. But they function fine.

You like RMR over the Rainier or Berry? Any reason?

I don't push the bullets hard so I really can't say if they are better... I've shot a lot of Rainer bullets and RMR... I'm happy with both. If you were going to go with a hot load, RMR says these can be pushed to 1500 FPS.

I forgot what your setup was. How long did that take?

I can't imagine how long that took! I'd be too proud of the effort to actually shoot them. I'd want to keep them like a trophy, a monument to the task, like the Pyramids.

I think we need to setup a gofundme account to buy Bob a Dillon.

^^^^
In the heat of the run on ammo a few years back, there was a guy around Whigham or Climax that went into the ammo remanufacturing business. Had several progressive type presses and all the other equipment. A friend in Bainbridge recently mentioned that all that equipment was available for sale now.
If anyone knows who this is/was it may be a good deal.

If I were having to shoot my own ammo all the time, I'd think hard about getting a progressive press. While it takes much longer, I still enjoy the hands on control the single stage process provides. If I shot weekly/monthly matches I would imagine a progressive would be a must.

I still load my 45 one step at a time. Doesn't bother me too much.............but if you hear about a decently priced progressive, share the info.

Bob let me know if your need a quality control analyst to shoot a randomly chosen 1000 rounds for you......
