Kevins had some last time I was in there. But take smelling salts with you, his price is about 50% above MSRP.

Haven't been in Kevins in YEARS... When he was the only game in town he treated shooters like me like shit....now we have half a dozen stores, he is interested in customer service..there was a big mele on the other board about Kevins store a few years ago and I shared my experiences ion great detail.

As a side note, he used to have a lot of short short wearing eye candy at the front of the store...

any other suggestions ? I would really hate to break my Kevin's boycott for this but I'm not paying $28 for hazmat for these

NJC, If it will help I could spot you a 1000 if you think you can replace them within a month or so.

CH, I appreciate the offer.
I'll try DSH tomorrow and if there is nothing there, I will contact you. I really just need about 500 for my Mk262 Mod1 77 gr project. If you are interested in just selling me 500, PM me. This will either be my only foray into reloading, or my starting reloading.

Thanks

NJC,
Have you seen this?
http://forum.capitalcitygunforum.com/showthread.php?4825-good-article-on-diffrences-between-primers

Also from what I hear the wolf primers are hard as well...
I changed from sr, to sr magnum to get a thicker cup....as well as to be able to handle more pressure..
I'll use the sr primers in lower pressure ammo as they were designed.. 22 hornet and similar..

I know some say it is not a issue, but I wanted to try.. I'll find out this weekend..as I haven't shot any yet..

But kevins had some, both in sleeves of 100 and 1k boxes. Today.

Kevins had a box of 1000 (I want to say may $50) and were selling individual packs of 100 this morning for around $5.50.

An awful lot of you guys are going to Kevin's. Isn't that what they call "suspicious activity"?:sadwave:

So I went to Kevins this morning. Store has changed a bunch since I was last there, but everything else is still the same. O V E R P R I C E D

I got the primers I needed and saw a $485 benchmade infidel.... Shoot, I spent less than that on my Chris Reeve knife.

He sells monogrammed YETI coolers....enough said.
