I guess the planets were in a prefect alignment, where I had the day off, the weather was prefect, and my ex had my son for the day; so I sat down and did some casting for 300 blackout supers and subs. I used NOE molds and powder coat them afterwards and gas check the ones that need them, sized them to .309 and now I am ready to load them up. The reason why I started casting is because for a while it was a royal pain to find the bullets I wanted to shoot blackout and plus the price was getting up there. The reason why I posting this is because, if work out as a decent plinking projectile and save a lot of money to be able to enjoy shooting my 300 without dropping an arm and leg on bullets. Once I test these out few times and see if it is worth it, then if anybody that casts wants to try these bullets before buying there own, just let me know

They look cool for first time out Marcus - should be a huge savings.

What kind of mold are you using out of curiosity?

im going to try a pure lead cast and try that next. From what I have read, people that powder coat there cast can shoot just pure lead and they are working just fine.
