For those that have more important things to do (like cutting toenails, watching football or whatever it is) we also ARE uber busy; both Friday (yes, until evening) and Saturday morning (John Birch Society meeting, so we won't be the last to leave), but building REAL (face to face) relationships and, eventually, a sense of community --however it's done-- is insanely important.

Of course, if we were the men we see ourselves as, we'd also meet and do the same at Dark Horse classes and actually train together, but I guess "happy-happy fun-fun time" is what we need to do first. What's so frustrating is that I'm just as guilty as others here of being stupid busy and not being able to sacrifice my time for the cause.

I could really use some IkeAide after all that's happened this month.

I'm also looking forward to seeing dishdoc getting dishdoc'd.

I would like to personally thank everyone that came on Friday. It was the best one yet. Truly, you guys are a unique group and I am blessed that God brought you all into my life. The wife is also very impressed and has made good friends out of this. She had a blast. We both concur that as a whole this is the smartest and most generous group of guys that we have encountered. The level of humor and conversation is fantastic. The generosity in helping to make these get-togethers possible is also appreciated. We have tried this before and end up footing the bill for everything. Your generosity has made it possible to continue these in the future. I broke perfectly even and had food left over. It really means a lot to me.

I look forward to many meetings int he future. I particularly want to thank those of you that had a long drive.... SeaDog/Jim, Outlaw/Bodo. It meant a lot that you came and your presence was enjoyed by all.
