Sunday November 11, TRPC will have it's monthly 3X300 Prone match.
Set-up starts at 8:30, shooting starts at 9:00.

What is the course of fire? What are the rifle requirements? Thanks. Jim

Course of fire and firearms allowed as follows:
Match 1 - 2 sighting shots in 2 minutes followed by 20 shots for score in 20 minutes.
Match 2 - 2 sighting shots in 2 minutes followed by 20 shots for score in 20 minutes.
Match 3 - 2 sighting shots in 2 minutes followed by 20 shots for score in 20 minutes.
Match 4 - Aggregate of Matches 1, 2 & 3.

All shooting is done single fire from the Prone position at 300 yards on a MR63 target (600 yard target reduced to 300 yards).

Types of rifles: Service Rifle (M16/AR15, M14/M1A, M1 Garand), Match Rifle Iron Sights, Match Rifle Scoped, F-Class Open (any rifle any sight .35 cal or less on a rest), F-Class T/R (any rifle any sight .35 caliber or less on a bipod).

Match fee - $11.00.

Jim - We have a shooter that shoots this with his scoped Thompson Contender on a bipod, I'm sure you have something that would work.
Also the match is on Sunday not Saturday.
