I checked out the plate carriers and those things look slick as hell. Great quick-on low profile rig to wear under a light jacket - or heavily loaded with the molle attachments. I like that a lot.

And it seemed to work just fine. Even though the shoulders don't have the padding that some have, that never bothered me.

The only issue I had (other than weight and heat and out of shape) was the plate carrier shifting over time and riding up in the front.
