Sunday 9/9/12 TRPC will have it's first 300 yard Prone Match.
Match Program:
Time: Set-up starts at 8:30, shooting starts at 9:00.
Rules: NRA Highpower rules will be used.
Entry: Entry fee $11.00. Entries will be accepted up to 8:45 am prior to firing. Entries will be limited to 28 Competitors.
Classification: NRA Classification will be used. NRA membership not required.
Classes: Service Rifle (M1 Garand, M14/M1A, M16/AR15, M110/AR10) NRA Match Rifle, Any Rifle Iron Sights, Any Rifle Any Sight (.35 caliber or less), F-Class Open, F-Class TR.
Target: MR63 (600 yard target reduced to 300 yards).
Ammunition: Competitors are to supply their own safe ammunition. No Incendiary, Armor Piercing, or Steel Core (SS109) allowed.
Scoring: Competitors will be required to score.
Compensators, Muzzle Brakes or Suppressors are not allowed per NRA Rule 3.16.1.
Eye and Ear protection required per TRPC rules. Liability waiver required.
EMPTY CHAMBER INDICATORS: NRA RULE 3.21, THE EMPTY CHAMBER INDICATOR WILL BE USED TO INDICATE THE CHAMBER IS CLEAR.
Empty Chamber Indicators will available from the Match Sponsor for $1.00.
Course of fire: 60 shot Midrange Prone Course with Sighters.
Match #1 - 300 yard Slowfire Prone - 2 sighters in 2 minutes and 20 rounds for record in 20 minutes.
Match #2 - 300 yard Slowfire Prone - 2 sighters in 2 minutes and 20 rounds for record in 20 minutes.
Match #3 - 300 yard Slowfire Prone - 2 sighters in 2 minutes and 20 rounds for record in 20 minutes.
Match #4 - Aggregate of Matches 1, 2, & 3.
No awards will be issued.
