Talon has a Tactical Carbine class running tomorrow. Given the option I would not miss it even if I had trained with Bob a week or two ago.
Different perspectives - when they occur - can often be the very best teachers.
I think that I may have mentioned this before, but I am going to do it again because it is a perfect example of what I am talking about.
I have about $1000.00 invested in my strong hand to support hand pistol transition.
I did . . . everyones, advanced handgun program. Some two or three times. I was no stranger to the transition even before that. But I never found a technique that just felt natural and intuitive to me. Then, after I had pretty much given up hope, I did an advanced program offered (at the time) by the head of the FDLE region 5 SWAT team.
I saw it. It wasn't something he was even formally teaching. I simply saw him do it. It gave me goosebumps. Soooooo smooth, so fast, the economy of motion was off the chart.
That was at least the sixth or seventh advanced handgun program I had done.

You married men best remember its Valentine's Day that weekend unless you want to do something other than training inside a dog house.
I'll take mine shooting and she'll like it.

Sounds awesome. But I have shoot-out plan at Talon with my friends.

Well, OK.
As long as you have such a good reason not to learn some skills. ;)

That's usually how that statement works out for me to!
