200 should cover. Need holster, mag pouch, 3 mags minimum. But they'll let you shoot without the mag pouch.

Damn I've only got 2 mags for my H&K USP and I shoot best with that. I've got a xd45 but I stink with it.

They people that shoot USPSA are extremely helpful and willing to loan you items to help you be able to participate. Give John Rassmmusen a call at Talon and see if he can help you out with the mags. He is an H& K guy. Cant hurt to try and it is so worth it.

A lot of people shoot low with a glock,including myself.After about 300 rounds I got the feel for it and a lot better shot placement.May not be sight may be you being used to your 1911 more than striker fired.
