Saturday February 8th in Quincy.

Anytime after noon is a great time to show.

Groceries around 1800.

I heard they are feeding the kids to the hogz around 2300; so we know that Jafar and Dale's mommas will be there also...

If you're gonna show up post here.

Oh, and it's a P O T L U C K. Offer to bring something so the man doesn't have to assign dishes....

Ya heathens.

Tack Driver

You're mom's an invalid, that's why I eat my vegetables.

Let's say the baby shower ends at 5. Then I drive two hours to Sopchoppy, that's 7. Then I hang out and drink three beers (which will only piss me off) and leave at 9. Two hours back is 11. Unless there's a "drunk helo" rental service that I don't know about, that sounds a little out of range for me.

Plus, I either have to be in a cave, or have my black ass out of FL before the sun goes down.

It's not in Sopchoppy.

Fuck bro, pay attention.

I have a grill/smoker on wheels that can be at the arena.

I'm thinking of cooking a pot of tripe and lima beans or liver and lites over rice. Sampling will be mandatory!

Making a couple of assumptions....

1) You guys are talking about smoking not grilling
2) The brisket is thinner than the butt
3) your smoker can maintain a steady, low temp

The brisket will take less time

seadog
January 31st, 2014, 10:22 AM
Smoker for the butt or brisket and a grill for the Korean BBQ. If need be I'll start the meat early in the am on my smoker.

January 31st, 2014, 10:46 AM
I have a grill made out of a 150 gallon LP tank. Towable. It has a firebox on one end for smoking. You can also put charcoal under the racks for grilling. Easy to regulate heat. Seadog, if you want to start on yours, or even cook on yours Friday night and warm on mine that fine with. Just again, I don't want to impose.

Anybody that wants to come early in the day to start cooking and hang out. can. RR53 and I will be around all day setting up.

Talon is just 15 minutes to the east.

Wal-Mart is 5 minutes away, for beer runs, etc.

Wife said it's forecasted to rain on the 8th. Do we have an indoor option or some covered areas?

Dang Jonas, that's an 8 day out forecast. It may change 10 times by then.

But, I have a three sided 12 X 24 shed on skids, that I'll drag over and the Stabin Cabin is about 400 sq ft, with kitchen and bathroom. Disclaimer: My brother named the cabin.

Just wanted to say DANG, hate that we missed the PotLuck !!! Things have been busy for me lately....... apparently I'm going back to work. I don't do drugs and everybody with any dirt on me is dead or suffering senior dementia by now........
But seriously, not doing road duty work will be a change for this aged, retired copper!
