Who sells powder in town? Kevins has some, bass pro looked at me like i was dumb, and i didnt feel like going to every shop in town. Online is ok, but that hazmat fee sucks unless you buy a ton of powder at once

DSH Firearms on Centerville road is closed on the weekend.
But they do sell powder.
On the weekend, I think Kevins is your only option . . . :(

Trust me when I say this...
When it comes to reloading, buy online and buy in bulk. If you store your supplies indoors, they will last for YEARS with no ill effects.
Even if you are loading just one caliber, it will pay off. You will use just over 3.5 lbs. to load 1K of .223 ammo... so one 8lb. keg will serve you well.
Same with primers... order from a place like Powder Valley who does not drop ship powder like Midway USA. That way, you only pay one Hazmat fee. If not, you pat two fees, one for primers and the other for powder that's coming from somewhere else.
Thee fee only $27.50 and when split between an 8lb keg of powder and a 5k case of primers, it works out to about $2.15 per item (a lb. of powder being one item and 1K primers being another).
