NIB unfired S&W 629 Performance Center Stealth Hunter 44 mag. Really nice gun! Action is smooth and the trigger is good in single or double action. 7.5” ported barrel. $1300

Tango, check out BuffaloBore Ammo. If you figure out how to replicate their hunting ammo in 44Magnum, I'd like the recipe.
If your wife asks what you're doing, your trying to help me out.

I'm planning on running a few flavors but have to get a convertor mount as the top strap of this is a Picatinny and I am not wasting it on my sketchy Amazon red dots as I suspect the recoil / concussion will knock the glass out.
I actually do not reload although I have stalked several for sale items here. Alpha Blaster will I am sure see this and perhaps take up the "charge."
240g Federal Fusion v 300g Hornady XTP is my first test. I don't shoot un-jacketed ammo so I looked at the 270g Buffalo Bore Jacketed Flat nose to cover the weight range but it was out of stock. FWIW the Buffalo was $2.40 a shot before shipping.

Check out Allchin gun parts they have a mount that replaces the rear sight. I have a 686 with this mount and an rmr and it works great. I also wouldn’t have a problem mounting a Burris fast fire or similar to the rail on top. You should try some hard cast lead bullets a flat point bullet with a gas check is pretty deadly. Reloading for revolvers is the way to go if you have the time. It’s way cheaper than buying ammo and you can make a lot of different loads from light plinking all the way up to heavy hunting loads and if you shoot enough it will pay for itself in the long run.

I wish I had seen these earlier. I had to order direct from Aimpoint for the ACRO to mount and their mount puts it further forward than most holsters can accommodate. It's also $25 cheaper than the Aimpoint specific one.
They are now both on the way - The Aimpoint which give is 22mm of rise and goes out front and the Allchin which replaces the rear sight. I will mock them both up and see but I suspect the Allchin is going to make a chest rig much easier to fit. Thank you.
FWIW - We really have to stop actually being cordial and helpful or we may accidentally rekindle what once was a daily source of amusement and "virtual" comradery. Yes, I am aware it can be spelled "camaraderie" but this ain't no safe space for France.
