We now stock Bison coolers, tumblers, hard pistol & rifle cases in the shop. Made in the good ol USA and just as nice or if not better than the brand that shall no longer be named.
We also now carry Gerber knives, also made in the USA, automatics made with S30 steel. Stop on by or call the shop @597-7550 for any questions

I think it would probably make sense to mention that this is at Talon Range.

Come on down and tell them Ed sent ya!I think you'd be surprised how many people ride the "New Posts" button and pay zero mind to sections except for when starting new threads.

Man that blade isn't even worn and appears never sharpened. You ever use it?

If I remember correctly, I think they want you to send it in to be sharpened....

I'm pretty sure they prefer that you send your knife in to be sharpened. Or that's what I was told by a pretty credible source. I may be mistaken, but I doubt it. Then again I carry a case xx so I'm not sure about them fancy high dollar gigs...

It is an EDC, though it doesn't get a lot of use in an office environment. The warranty does state that improper sharpening voids the warranty, so I don't recommend taking a rasp or bench grinder to it. I was using a lansky diamond sharpening system to do mine, but have since switched to a basic V steel and ceramic sharpener. A double bevel edge is more durable, but I don't have the patience nor the time to do that on the lansky any more. I did have to send my Scarab in for warranty work, and they fixed it without question, even with my own sharpening.

I knew a guy years ago, First pocket knife he got was when he was an adult. Said he used a dremmel to try to sharpen it. This was not a chinese cheapy either, was a SpiderCo or bench made. made me cringe when he told me about it.

A knife with a dull blade is just a pry bar.

That's usually what gives my knives a dull blade in the first place.
