Built this for my son last week to go with his Christmas gift he doesn't know about yet. Right now just plugging away with a BB gun, until Christmas. Found a pic of a similar one online and figured I could build one with some scrap material. It's gravity fed so shoot the bottom target until it breaks and then it reloads on it's own. Bucket at the bottom to catch the clays as they break. Tons of fun

Anyone know how to turn an attachment, so I don't keep posting sideways pics?

Turn your camera sideways to take pictures, when you post them they are good to go. Nice target set up.

I'll try that next time, didn't know if there was a rotate tool on the forum or not. Thanks

Mass chaos....and it ruins shooting sports for him for life:cool: but...it will fall out when it makes it to the bottom slot, but yeah I am the kid with it too....have to fight for my turn, good thing he has school and I work evenings

What's in the bushes and woods behind the target?

There's an old cadence I remember that's relevant to this.

So? Just be a good shot.
The ROTC unit in Quincy used to get sent to the roof of the gymnasium to take care of pigeons. Late '70s - 22lr.

Smitty, Don't take any of this bantering to heart. I think that's a neat design and will give your kid hours of fun.
I may even have a piece of 3/8" plate I can give you to protect the clays from a stray 22lr.

Couple laps at port arms will break that lapse of control

What fun is that? With that setup, the little rascal will have got so much range time and marksmanship that he'll be backed up to 50 or 75 yards within the year.
That could be a fun setup, even for you and I. Imagine timing yourself to see how fast you can break 20 at 100 yards?

used to use them at Otter creek, you had to go past the Skeet range to get to the long range, I'd grab an arm full off the ground on the way by and set them on the berm. They are quite satisfying to hit from 300 Yds

Regular measurement or with SHTW's tape measure?

That'd be 1000 Yds on her tape measure, don't you go running your mouth to her and ruining this gig for me.

No not at all, I think it would be a lot of fun to shoot pistol on it too. It would be great for training to get on target fast.
